CBT aims to help individuals develop strategies and resiliency for managing in the here and now. Clients will be supported to recognise that our thoughts, actions and physical symptoms all affect how we feel.
Often, difficult past experiences or stressors in our environment can lead us to feel a sense of overwhelm and feel negative towards ourselves, others or the world. In CBT, the therapist will work with you to identify your patterns and teach techniques that can be used outwith sessions.
This therapy is great for those who overthink or are struggling with work-related challenges, as well as for individuals experiencing more significant mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance misuse difficulties, or eating disorders.
