It was nice to be understood and reassured by a professional who never imposed their beliefs or opinions but offered guidance.
As a man attending spousal counselling I am delighted to say that Raquel was instrumental in repairing our relationship. I was impressed with her independence and guidance and I never felt that I was at a disadvantage in the process by having a female therapist, and indeed I think it was advantageous. Raquel has also assisted other family members. I would recommend couples counselling to everyone and wish I had started the process whilst we were still dating as it would have avoided an enormous amount of miscommunication and hurt on both sides.
I received EMDR therapy with Dr. Oswald and was amazed at how powerfully moving each session I experienced was, from the very outset. I felt safe being emotionally vulnerable, as Dr. Oswald was so clearly highly skilled in the practice of EMDR and very caring and empathic. I sensed quickly that I could place my trust in her. I would highly recommend working with Dr. Oswald, whether it is your first time considering therapy, or you have seen other practitioners in the past. The difference in how you feel during and after your sessions will soon leave you assured you
I have started EMDR with Marissa and find this to be very helpful and beneficial for me. My sessions with Marissa and other therapists at Infinite Mindcare have been excellent and their professionalism and knowledge are second to none. I would highly recommend Infinite Mindcare to everyone!
We brought our 11-year old son to see Sutton when he was having difficulty with his emotions and his behaviour while transitioning to a high school environment. Our experience was very positive. Sutton’s approach was evidence-informed, pragmatic and empathetic. She provided my son with practical tools to help him identify and manage his emotions and control his behaviour. Sutton also provided my husband and I with invaluable parenting advice to support our son. We are all so grateful for her help and saw remarkable improvements that have been sustained over time. We can recommend Sutton’s services without hesitation. Our son
Diane helped me understand that my mind is something I can actively work on and improve, similarly to studying for a test. With her honesty, empathy and knowledge I developed the confidence needed to stabilize my mental wellbeing. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.
“Marissa at Infinite Mindcare has been instrumental in helping me heal from some very tough experiences in my life. She is a great counselor and helps me feel heard and understood every time I open up to her with my feelings and problems. She is even available by phone for the times I didn’t feel well enough to leave my home. She took my healing to another level with the EMDR techniques that she is highly experienced in using. Not only did these techniques help me with current life issues, but the progress I’ve made with processing past traumas has
“My daughter was diagnosed at birth with a medical condition that causes her to suffer from anxiety and depression. Last year at age 10, after a neuropsychology evaluation, counselling was recommended to begin asap. Two weeks later, along came Sutton for our first session. Neither my daughter nor myself knew what to expect. We were both anxious and I was certainly tense. You see, my child’s condition, while quite common among females is one that is not well known out there especially as a lot of females are often undiagnosed. After spending years educating others, even some in the medical
Working with Diane has been an amazing experience and over the past few months she has saved my life numerously. I do not feel judged but more so appreciated and welcomed during every session. She is absolutely the best and I am glad that I have her by my side for support. I would definitely recommend IMC to anyone who is going through a hard time in their lives because of the level of professionalism and compassion that is displayed.
I have struggled with alcohol and gambling issues for many years now. On January 1st 2020, I got into an accident and got OVI. I tried regular individual and group therapy at the VA hospital In Columbus, OH. A few weeks later it was recommended that I try CBT. At first, I was reluctant to try another form of therapy. A few weeks later I was introduced to Diane Cummins, then we started my CBT. This form of therapy has completely changed my thought pattern on how to approach situations for the better. I have always dealt with social anxiety
