Sutton Burke

Sutton is extremely passionate about her work as Owner & Clinical Director of Infinite Mindcare and as an advocate for mental health awareness and care in the Cayman Islands.

Drawing upon years of clinical experience working in community mental health, residential treatment centers, and group private practice, Sutton Burke, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), registered and practicing in the Cayman Islands, offers an integrative style beyond traditional therapy. While she sees clients with a variety of issues, Sutton specializes in difficult to treat Anxiety Disorders (such as OCD and Social Phobia), relationships, and working with First Responders. Her compassion, authenticity, and understanding enables her to quickly connect with her clients.

Sutton Burke obtained certification in ERP through the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) sponsored by the International Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation (IOCDF). She also has extensive training and experience in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), The Gottman Method (for couples), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Her clients engage in stress relief techniques, talking, exposure exercises, feeling identification, mindfulness practices, and expressivity through art or movement, creativity, and psychoeducation. She works with her clients to build and support their individual self-awareness and coping skills. You will quickly discover that Sutton listens intently, but does not just sit silently. She brings curiosity, intuition, compassion, and humour to her work.

Despite Sutton Burke’s vast knowledge and skills she recognizes and respects that you are the expert at being you. She will be your partner and help pave the way for the change you desire in order to improve your quality of life. Sutton has a commitment to providing evidence based treatments while helping people reach (and maintain) their full potential in life.

Besides Sutton’s therapeutic work, she has been a guest lecturer for multiple universities, and has facilitated workshops & conference talks on different topics both in Cayman and abroad.
